Terms and conditions – Cannova Shop
1. Terms
These terms and conditions are established by Cannova Shop (Cannova). By placing an order or using this website, you agree to be bound by the terms contained herein.
2. Acceptance
Cannova acknowledges receipt of the Buyer’s order and accepts the order expressly contingent on the Buyer’s assent to these terms and conditions, whether additional to or different from those contained in the Buyer’s purchase order or any other document supplied by the Buyer.
3. Prices
All website prices are listed in U.S. Dollars. Duty, applicable taxes, freight charges, and any special packaging charges are included in the stated prices and will not be added to the invoice after order confirmation. Products and prices are accurate at the time of publication but are subject to change without notice. Current prices will be confirmed at the time an order is placed.
4. Shipping
Shipping is handled via reliable courier services such as EMS or FedEx. Additional charges may apply if the Buyer requests special shipping methods or expedited delivery. All products are sold CIF unless otherwise agreed; recipients are responsible for any duties, tariffs, or taxes unless alternate terms are mutually confirmed in writing.
5. Errors and omissions
Cannova shall not be held responsible for any typographical, clerical, or descriptive errors present in orders, price listings, or product specifications. Despite careful review, such errors may occur. In the event of a significant discrepancy, Cannova will contact the Buyer prior to shipment.
6. Quality
Quality is an essential criterion for every product offered by Cannova. All listed chemicals are subject to strict internal quality‑control testing to ensure consistency and reliability. The standard purity and physical constants stated in the analytical section and on labels are representative values; they may vary slightly from batch to batch. If further quality‑related information is required, please contact us prior to order placement.
7. Toxicity and hazards
All chemicals supplied by Cannova are intended for controlled laboratory environments and should be handled only by qualified personnel trained in laboratory procedures and familiar with the potential hazards. Information may not be available for all compounds, and the absence of a warning must not be interpreted as an indication of safety.
Buyers are responsible for consulting appropriate safety‑data sheets, regulatory guidelines, and institutional protocols before storage, handling, or use.
8. Warranties
Cannova warrants that all compounds provided will match the product description and specifications stated in our catalogue and on our Certificates of Analysis.
This warranty is exclusive, and no additional warranties—express or implied (including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose)—are granted. The Buyer must notify Cannova within five days of receipt if any product is deemed non‑conforming; otherwise, the goods shall be considered accepted.
For errors or changes initiated by the Buyer, no item will be accepted for return without a Cannova‑issued return authorization number. A restocking fee will apply upon return. If a shipment is refused by the Buyer, a restocking fee of at least 30% (with a minimum of 100 USD) will apply.
No license or immunity under any patent is granted or implied by the sale of any product.
9. Lost or damaged shipments
Products are sold CIF unless otherwise agreed in writing. All duties, tariffs, and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. Shipments are fully insured at the Buyer’s expense. If a shipment is lost, incomplete, or damaged, the Buyer must contact Cannova as soon as reasonably possible. Cannova will provide reasonable assistance in filing claims with the carrier.
10. Order changes and cancellation
Requests to cancel or change an active order must be submitted in writing. If production or preparation has already commenced, a restocking or termination fee may apply.
In the event of cancellation, Cannova will stop all work and charge a reasonable termination fee reflecting the portion of work completed plus any direct costs incurred. Cannova reserves the right to modify at any time—by written notification—the quantity, specifications, materials, packaging, timing, delivery, or method of transportation. If such changes affect cost or delivery, an equitable adjustment will be made and documented in writing.
Cannova also reserves the right to terminate all or part of an order at its sole discretion.
11. Use of products
Cannova’s products are intended primarily for laboratory and analytical research purposes and are not approved for human or veterinary use unless explicitly stated otherwise. Products may not be resold or distributed for consumption, medicinal, or recreational purposes.
By purchasing, the Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold Cannova harmless from any losses, damages, or expenses arising from the Buyer’s use of the products, whether used individually or in combination with other substances. The Buyer assumes all risk and liability associated with use, handling, storage, and disposal.
12. Patent and regulatory disclaimer
All patent and regulatory responsibility for the use of our chemicals rests solely with the Buyer. Any suggestions or recommendations provided by Cannova are for informational purposes only and do not constitute a license to operate under or to infringe any patent.
It is the Buyer’s responsibility to verify compliance with local laws, regulations, and institutional policies before ordering, receiving, or using any products.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or from use of the website or products shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
14. Changes to these terms
Cannova reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. The current version will remain available on this page. Continued use of the website or placement of orders after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
